The Pyrennees region is a beautiful, resolute land which has experienced periods of greater population and others of abandonment, to a point where there are completely uninhabited villages. Sometimes the fact of preserving heritage, having a second home or a country hotel in order to retain the link with the family home or get back to nature means that some people want to rehabilitate and choose this setting as a permanent or sporadic place to live in. The needs and possibilities available are wide and varied, however, the regulations are often stricter here than in a large city.
